Our Curriculum
King Academy Child Care Centre is a ministry-approved child care centre dedicated to providing an enriching and nurturing environment for young learners. Our play-based-centered program integrates both academic and holistic elements, ensuring that we cater to the various dimensions of each child’s development. All of our carefully planned activities are designed to support the unique developmental needs of each child as a whole person, promoting not only their educational growth but also their emotional and social well-being. Our engaging programming fosters a love for learning, nurtures a strong sense of independence, and cultivates the important ability to respect oneself and others. In each classroom, we offer a diverse range of age-appropriate activities, which include circle time, creative arts, as well as science and sensory tables designed specifically to meet the different physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of our young learners. Additionally, we provide a variety of developmental assessments to assist both parents and our dedicated staff in monitoring and evaluating your child’s developmental progress, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Our Services
At King Academy Child Care Centre, we proudly offer comprehensive full-day child care services tailored specifically for children ranging from 0 to 4 years of age. Our well-designed facility features four dedicated classrooms that cater to the unique developmental needs of our young learners. We have one nurturing infant classroom, one engaging toddler classroom, and two vibrant preschool classrooms, each providing a warm and stimulating environment for every child to thrive.
We offer two playgrounds which are vibrant spaces where children can engage in active play, explore their surroundings, and develop essential social skills. These areas are designed to foster creativity and imagination. With a mix of climbing structures, ramps, bikes, and open areas for games. Playgrounds serve as the perfect backdrop for children to build friendships and learn teamwork in a safe and inclusive environment.
Infant
Our Infant program is thoughtfully designed to offers a loving, caring and nurturing environment that truly feels like a home away from home. We aim to create a warm and welcoming space where every infant can thrive and feel secure, surrounded by attentive caregivers who prioritize their individual needs and development.
The Toddler program encourages children to explore their surroundings in a safe, yet stimulating environment that promotes learning and discovery. This program is designed to be a bit more structured than our Infant program, Incorporating consistent classroom routines throughout the program day to provide stability and predictability. We also encourage the children to develop a sense of independence, helping them take small steps towards self-sufficiency while building confidence in their abilities.
Toddler
The Preschool program at King Academy Child Care Centre is designed to keep learning both engaging and enjoyable by focusing on essential topics such as colours, shapes, numbers, a variety of words, writing basics, and vital self-help skills. Preschoolers will have endless fun running, jumping, climbing, dancing, and playing in a secure environment, both indoors and outdoors, while actively building important social skills together with their peers. They will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of exciting activities in large and small learning areas.
