Raising the Bar- Child Development Resource Connection Peel

King Academy is proud to be apart of the Raising the Bar in Peel Program. (RTBP) This vital program, situated within the Peel region, is dedicated to significantly enhance the quality of child care for all families. At King Academy, we work alongside our designated mentor, who has been appointed by Raising the Bar, too consistently uphold both the local community and provincial regulatory standards that ensue the highest quality of care. Peel Inclusion Resource Services (PIRS)

PIRS is a dedicated program that is wholeheartedly committed to supporting children and their families before their little ones officially enter the school system. PIRS collaborates closely with our families and our experienced staff to provide a range of support services designed to help children fully engage and participate in our program on a daily basis. Moreover, this invaluable service is provided completely free of charge, and importantly, no specific diagnosis is required to access the benefits.

PIRS is committed to supporting:

  • Children with special needs in licensed centres and home -based child care programs in the Peel Region

  • Early identification of children who may benefit from resource consultant support

  • Child care programs by providing resources and coaching so that all children can participate fully in child care.

ADCO

King Academy is a proud member of ADCO. “ADCO is the industry associtation for independent licensed child care programs in Ontario. ADCO provides a forum for the owners, managers and boards of these organizations to work together to maintain and improve child care quality, and expand the range of licensed child care choices available to Ontario families.”

King Academy has initiated this program to our centre. The CWELCC program is the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program.
